Growing up in
Idaho on a cattle ranch, it was only natural that Pamela would love all of
nature including beautiful mountain, lake and ocean panoramas as well as a
whole host of various living creatures.
Pam has
a B.A. in Music with a Minor in Fine Art from Boise State University. She has worked in various mediums most of her
life and has an eclectic style always trying new methods and techniques. Pam’s oil, watercolor and acrylic paintings,
and drawings can be found in many personal collections worldwide. Her work has ranged from very small painted
ACEO Trading Cards to her own realistic and impressionistic interpretations of
nature and life around us on paper, canvas boards and stretched canvas.
She strives to have a great variety in her choice of subjects. It might be a landscape or seascape, an old
wood fence, a portrait, an animal, or simply a simple flower; but whatever the
subject, the main interest is always in 1) design, and 2) value & color. Although she has attended many formal
art education classes since high school, she started her art education very
early in life by drawing her favorite teen idols and making everything from
soap sculptures to collages.
Your interest in Pamela's art is most appreciated, and it is with hope that you
find something that sparks your interest to add to your collection.
